Registration Processes and Fees:

There are some mandatory registration processes and fees that any respective athlete who wishes to join must complete in order to participate. Weekend tournaments and trips are completely optional and generally require an additional fee in order for a player to participate. All the processes and fees are explained below.

STEP 1: REGISTER FOR THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD WATER POLO CLASS 

Registration for the instructional practice sessions can be done three ways: Online at the City of Fairfield's
website
, in person at the Fairfield community center, or in person at City Hall at the Mall located inside the Westfield Solano Mall. This fee covers the cost of all practice sessions and scrimmages.

STEP 2: REGISTER WITH USA WATER POLO

All athletes must be currently registered with USA Water Polo. Any athlete that is not currently registered will NOT be allowed to participate, no exceptions. Through membership, USA Water Polo provides insurance coverage for your athlete as well as coaches during practices and games. Secondly, registering allows you to participate in all USA Water Polo sanctioned events. Falcon Water Polo exclusively participates in sanctioned tournaments and events.

To register, simply go to the
USA Water Polo website
and choose to sign-up or renew your existing membership. During registration, you will be asked to enter your club name (Falcon Water Polo), the club number (656), and the zone (Central California) that you live in.

STEP 3: FILL OUT THE ATHLETE REGISTRATION FORM AND MEDICAL RELEASE FORM

Fill out our club registration form and medical release form to provide us with your basic contact information in case of an emergency or other event where our coaching staff would need to get in touch with an athlete and/or parent. The registration form and medical release forms are both available to download and print from the links below
You will need  Adobe Reader to view the file. Forms are also available from coaches on the pool deck.


Once your forms are completed, bring it with you to practice. All forms are due one week from when the current season's first practice starts.




*OPTIONAL* STEP 4: TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION AND FEES

During each season, we try to participate in at least three tournaments. To pay the entry fees for the tournaments, we look at the total tournament entry costs for the season and charge an arbitrary fee that also includes a small charge for equipment usage/wear and tear, as we provide our own equipment for use by our athletes at practices and games.

At the beginning of each season, the coaching staff gauges an interest from our athletes on who is interested in tournament play. Typically, the more athletes that wish to play in tournaments, the smaller the tournament fees will be. The fewer the athletes, the greater the split cost. Because of this, fees vary from season-to-season and year-to-year. If an athlete knows in advance that they will not be able to make all the tournament dates, their tournament fee can be pro-rated. In addition to pro-rating tournament fees, Falcon Water Polo also offers the following fee incentives:

-Any family that has multiple siblings enrolled in our program will be eligible to receive a discount on the registration of each additional sibling beyond the first.

-All first-time athletes will also be eligible to receive a discount on their tournament fees.

It is our wish to afford as many of our athletes as possible to have the opportunity to play in tournaments, and because of this we are open to receiving payments on a tournament-to-tournament or monthly basis.
